ACCELERANT Superfood Porridge Recipe - A Winter Warmer
With the colder months coming up we thought we would try a healthy twist on traditional porridge.
You will love this - it is delicious, highly nutritious and has an extra boost with added ACCELERANT!
RECIPE
Step 1
1 cup cooked black rice
1 cup cooked red or white quinoa
Step 2
Make proprietary ACCELERANT mixture -
Mix together in a small saucepan :
2 teaspoons of Accelerant
100Ml Premium Coffee (optional),
1 tablespoon coconut sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
and slowly simmer down to syrupy consistancy (about 5 minutes)
Add 300 ml almond or soy milk (or preferred milk) and mix together and heat through on the stove. Take off heat and fold in 1 teaspoon vanilla essence.
Now fold through the rice and quinoa.
Step 3
Spoon dollops of the mixture into a serving bowls.
Top with yogurt (we love coconut yogurt) toasted almond flakes, cacao nibs, hemp seeds, pine nuts, chopped dates, sprinkle with cinnamon and drizzle with raw honey and hemp oil. Yummo!
Step 4
Make a hot creamy ACCELERANT Cappuccino or Latte to enjoy with porridge!
